Oct 1, 2018 Updated Oct 4, 2022. After four months of construction, the Joint Base Lewis-McChord main gate has reopened according to a news release. The JBLM Visitor Center also reopened on Saturday. The main gate, also called Liberty Gate, is the primary entrance for visitors and is located off I-5, exit 120.JBLM Visitors' Center number is 253-967-4794. Driving Directions. Take Exit 120 off I-5 near the Liberty Gate and follow the signs to JBLM main gate. The visitor's center will be to your right as you approach the gate. Hours are 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
