Staccato XC really worth it? The Staccato XC is a great firearm obviously but the price tag is steep and the competition has caught up. Staccato has made the 2011 space what it is today. I went with the C2 because of the weight. I'm picking up the new modular CGS 9mm can when it drops (mostly to run in short configuration) and it'll be dedicated to this Staccato. An upgraded mag catch came with the release of the Gen 2 Staccato grips. That was to help with the overinsertion problem that STI's and 2011's in general had been plagued by for years. It did help but did noy completely stop that from happening. G3 mags was also to help fix that issue and did help.

I got it as a gift to myself to be used as a USPSA competition pistol and all around fun gun, that I can enjoy. I’m a fan of well done grips, the stock grip in my opinion was sub par especially since I have well over 12 guns with STI’s Costa or DVC grips. They are done for STI by Extreme Shooters.
