Dec 22, 2021 · litzdog911. Restarting your Receiver/DVR won't erase any recordings. What channels have this problem? Often CC issues originate with the station/network, not DirecTV. In both Closed Captioning and DirecTV Captions, every other line or so goes missing. Have read various posts in Forums re this issue, including using Restart Receiver option.
