Brown spotting on nexplanon

I am bleeding brown again, but I do think it is normal. Nexplanon works differently for each woman, but it feels incredibly gross. It doesn't hurt like a period, but I always thought it was like built up pressure from not having a regular cycle. If I am wrong, it would be nice to know though.
