As is tradition, enhanced perks on crafted guns are better than normal perks with an adept mod. The only benefit to Adept is that you get 2 sets of perks so you might get a good flex weapon. Adepts aren't worth it grinding for. If you get lucky and get a good roll on an adept, then sweeet.
